A Tree Skirt By Ruby Star Society And Some Deeper Stuff
Today’s free pattern is called Candlelight Tree Skirt and designed by Alexia Marcelle Abegg and Melody Miller, two of the original founders of brand Cotton+Steel, until they moved on to Moda Fabrics and founded the upgrade brand Ruby Star Society.
It seems like a good fit for the five ladies, because they keep churning out beautiful collections. And happily, some of all their hard work will prettify our shop as well. (We will stock RSS, not Cotton+Steel, in case anyone wondered.)
Additionally there are a few other designers of Moda Fabrics under consideration such as Joanna Figueroa with her extensive career, distinct look, and Lella Boutique. Each of the two has her own collection with Aurifil, too, which will be listed in the shop.
Moda is a feast of colour and many of their designers have fresh and modern styles. The entrepreneur in me also admires how Moda cleverly have created merchandise of different types around their various designers and collections to hook fans.
It’s hard when starting out on a budget, would be wonderful to take it all in, but some inventory inevitably ends up collecting dust, so a more mindful approach must be applied. This includes making anti-racist shopping decisions and happily the mentioned people are seemingly of such character, too.
