The Guest
Maria from Finland said she craved something new, different. I suggested she take a look Luna & Laurel by AGF Studio, but had no further ideas for her.
Since she wasn’t keen on the mostly black print also available in the collection, her November bundle incorporates older prints by other AGF designers. It’s not what I expected.
”What will you make?”, I asked then. ”An autumnal wall-hanging of florals and stuff” apparently. Go figure. Our customers keep teaching me about art and life.
The Bundle
Maria was asked to pick six prints from our current selection and she put together a bundle that cannot be described as traditional in any sense of the word, but it embodies all things contemporary in quilting.
Here it is without text on top:
Starting from the green eyes, counter-clockwise:
- Visions Woodblock by AGF Studio for Art Gallery Fabrics
- Dhurrie Luminary by Sharon Holland for Art Gallery Fabrics
- Laurel Daring by AGF Studio for Art Gallery Fabrics
- Tinted Blooms by AGF Studio for Art Gallery Fabrics
- Shibori Jardin by Bari J. for Art Gallery Fabrics
- Perfectly Imperfect by AGF Studio for Art Gallery Fabrics
Weird but wonderful. And it makes me feel things.
Luna & Laurel was described this way by AGF: ”Walk by the stars and a sky drawn with flowers in the mystical world of Luna & Laurel. Where spirit and nature connect with botanical and esoteric elements that let your curious soul wander.”

The bundle is found here: English, Suomi, Svenska.
I’m proud to carry this bundle in our shop. Thanks so much, Maria, for accepting my challenge!
