Embroidery Patterns

DMC is the manufacturer of various supplies for embroidery, but first became know as a maker of threads. The company is so old, founded in 1746 far earlier than the revolution that most of us don’t even know it but as an acronym today.

DMC is short for Dollfus-Mieg & Compagnie after Dollfus and his wife, née Mieg. Cie is Compagnie abbreviated, which you may also stumble upon.

So now that you know this, let’s look at a very small selection of their free offerings! There’s red, green, silver and gold galore in both cross stitch and free-form embroidery patterns.
