In our blog category “Know-How” we share tutorials, techniques and other tips to be creative with Sentti & Tuuma products. To begin with it will be text-based but we hope to offer small videos soon enough, too!

If you’re looking to buy fabric, be sure to read our first post how we sell it, the increments (0,25 metres) that is, as well as an infographic of how buying yardage compares to metre. A fat quarter (FQ) bought in the United States is smaller than ours and those you find in European shops using the metric system! This means you can’t just compare price per one FQ to price per to other FQ, but you need to calculate what a metre would cost in the US, alternatively a yard would cost her.

Sentti & Tuuma is here to help you revive your stashes, combine old with new, and use every last bit of what you own. Craft materials can be expensive but at least they’ll be put to use in sometimes unexpected ways.

Finally, we know it can be intimidating to learn something new. It’s hard to know who has the best information for the quickest result of great quality, since the blogosphere is full of content of varying level of knowledge.
