A Modern October Bundle By Our Guest Karoliina

Who likes quilting fabrics fresh and modern? If you do you’re in the company of Karoliina, our October guest!

The Guest

Karoliina from Finland is a die-hard fan of bold prints and splashy colours in quilting cottons. For her next project she picked a bundle of the best pinks and violets combined with two fabrics from Create, the first collection by new designer Kristy Lea.

Karoliina says she needs colours to take her through our dark winter months in the north and I hear her loud and clear. Evenings arrive earlier and lately there’s been rain in the air. Soon we have no sun at all for weeks on end, but must turn to other types of sun – such as cheerful fabrics!

The Bundle

Karoliina was asked to pick six prints from our current selection and she came up with a highly modern bundle.

I have to admit these showcase perfectly why I got into the business myself. There’s nothing dusty and boring about this bundle, but it’s pure dynamic energy and exciting visually.

Also, remember how the stripes are perfect for quilt bindings of scrappy quilts full of colours, to mention one example.
